Plans and Pricing

How do Bulletin's plans work?

Bulletin has two basic plans: Small business and Enterprise

The price of your plan depends on what you want your subscriber capacity to be. The smallest subscriber capacity that we offer is 500 subscribers, and the largest is any custom amount over 200,000.

What is a subscriber?

A subscriber is a user that has consented to receive your content regularly. Subscribers opt-in to your chatbot, and will be sent any bulletins that you publish.

What is the subscriber capacity?

The subscriber capacity is the maximum number of chatbot subscribers that your plan will accommodate.

How do I choose my plan?

Decide how many chatbot subscribers you anticipate. Then, choose a plan that has a subscriber capacity that meets your needs. If you aren't sure about numbers yet, don't worry. Start with the basics and upgrade as your user count grows.

Upgrading and downgrading your plan

Can I change my plan at any time?

Yes. Bulletin is a pay-as-you-go service, so you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Click the “Settings” option on your Bulletin dashboard, then select “Plans” under the Account menu to change your plan.

What happens if I exceed the subscriber capacity of my plan?

Sometimes, subscriber growth happens unexpectedly. Bulletin’s pricing is designed to scale with the size of your audience. Here is what you can expect if you exceed capacity:

  • If your plan’s subscriber capacity is below 5000, then you can have up to 99 extra subscribers per month without incurring any additional charges. (For example, if your subscriber capacity is 700, you can have up to 799 monthly subscribers without any changes being made to your plan.)
  • If your plan’s subscriber capacity is 5000 or more, then you can exceed capacity by up to 999 subscribers without being charged any extra fees. (For example, if your subscriber capacity is 7000, you can have up to 7999 subscribers without any changes being made to your plan.)

If your subscriber count grows beyond these amounts, then we will automatically update capacity and prorate for the current month.

What if I have fewer subscribers than what I selected for my plan?

Each month we charge for the maximum number of subscribers from the last 30 days. If your current max subscriber count falls under a cheaper plan than the one you selected, then the plan and subscriber capacity will automatically be updated for the following month.

What happens if I upgrade my subscriber capacity in the middle of a billing cycle?

Switching between plans can be done at any time in the billing cycle. Click the “Settings” option on Bulletin’s dashboard. Then, select “Plan” under the Account menu to change your plan. Your plan will be upgraded and prorated for the rest of the billing cycle.

When does the billing cycle start?

Your billing cycle matches your sign-up date.

Worried about fees or contracts? Don't be.

Are there any setup fees?

There are no setup fees or hidden charges when you use Bulletin. Input your subscriber capacity, select your plan, and start sending bulletins immediately.

What about cancelation fees?

No. Bulletin is a pay-as-you-go service, so there is no long-term contract or binding red tape. Cancel at any time without penalty. Your account will stop working after the current billing cycle.

I want my team members to collaborate with me on Bulletin. Are there per-user fees?

No. Add as many team members as you’d like to your account. We designed our product so that the whole team can come onboard for just one fair price.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

There is no contract. When creating your account, all you have to do is accept our Terms and Conditions. You can cancel at any time without penalty. The account will stop working after the current billing cycle.

What is VAT?

VAT, or Value-Added Tax, is a tax that affects all digital sales based in the EU. The percentage of VAT that is charged depends on the purchaser’s European country of residence. Consumers and businesses outside the EU are not affected by this tax, and will not be charged.
